Performs other duties as directed by Taylor Hospitality Management Team.

Responsible for achieving hotel profitability and operational & cash flow goals.

Coordinates the development of the hotel’s long-range and annual (business) plans.

Consistently ensures that the hotel is operated in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Oversees the care and maintenance of all the hotel’s physical assets and facilities.

Handle guest relations issues as needed.

Apply feedback to improve performance; Monitor own work to ensure quality. Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.

Manage difficult or emotional customer situations; Respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.

Contribute to building a positive team spirit; ask for and offer help when needed.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Assist in the set-up and closing of the hot / continental breakfast using the provided checklists.

Prepare food and replenish as needed.

Drive Service Center profitability through increased sales, gross profit, P&L management, and labor cost control

Experience managing a Service Center in the RV, automotive, marine, or power sports industry is strongly preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Build and lead a high performing team of Technicians, Service Advisors, Parts Associates, Porters, and Detailers

Foster a positive culture that promotes employee development and retention

Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.

Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.

Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.

Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Gives direction to and works closely with vendors, outside contractors, firms, and individuals providing services to the hotel.

Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is acceptable.

Computer skills adequate to serve as an end user of OnQ hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite products.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Act as hotel Manager on Duty (MOD) while on duty and ensures continuity of MOD coverage across all shifts.

Minimum four (4) years of experience in Front Office and supervisory experience; OR

Previous Construction / Shop Experience Preferred.

Perform general cleaning of the shop facility and the shop yard as required.

Mow and trim grass around the shop and shop yard.

Empty shop trash cans and bins.

Use of a water truck to water down the shop yard for dust control.

Run a sweeper on the road for dust control.
