New Grad Registered Nurse Medical Oncology Jobs in Colorado

Mental and Emotional Requirements: Manages stress appropriately.

EDUCATION – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

EXPERIENCE – One year nursing experience. NICU specific experince is not required.

Participates in education by precepting and the education of orientees, peers and students and acting as a clinical resource.

Expert knowledge in medical/ clinical operations.

Expert knowledge in principles of communication: verbal and written, to deal with all levels of personnel.

Utilizes effective time management skills in planning and providing patient care.

BLS certification required by completion within conditional period of hired position.

ONS Chemotherapy certification within 6 months of hire. New Graduate RN’s will have 1 year from hire to complete ONS certification.

Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.

Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.

Identifies own learning needs and expands knowledge base through clinical practice and self-directed learning.

Use clinical skills for lab collection, testing, medical procedures

Assist in care coordination of the patient experience

Process-oriented - You have exceptional organizational skills and enjoy building scalable operational processes

Experience in medical/clinical environment preferred

NOTE: Our MA role has an 18 month tenure minimum requirement
