Overview A Government Contracts Associate is responsible for providing legal advice and assistance to government agencies in the negotiation, drafting, and execution of government contracts. They must be knowledgeable in the laws and regulations governing government contracts and be able to interpret and apply them to the specific needs of the agency. Detailed Job Description A Government Contracts Associate is responsible for providing legal advice and assistance to government agencies in the negotiation, drafting, and execution of government contracts. They must be knowledgeable in the laws and regulations governing government contracts and be able to interpret and apply them to the specific needs of the agency. They must also be able to analyze and interpret contract language, identify potential risks and liabilities, and provide advice on contract terms and conditions. The Government Contracts Associate must also be able to review and negotiate contract amendments, and provide advice on contract disputes. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field
• Juris Doctor degree preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in government contracting
• Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations

• Knowledge of contract negotiation and dispute resolution
