Review of documents provided by companies as part of unclaimed property examinations to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) is required, Juris Doctor degree (JD) or equivalent experience is preferred.

Previous experience with regulatory examinations and/or unclaimed property is a plus.

Strong legal research and drafting capabilities.

Legal research of unclaimed property related issues and applicable statutes and regulations.

Assistance with drafting and revision of agreements related to unclaimed property examinations.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; excellent interpersonal skills

Successful community college and/or dual credit teaching experience

Fulfill faculty roles and responsibilities as outlined in Midland College Policy and Administrative Regulations published in the Faculty and Employee Handbooks

Successfully complete Quality Matters certification during the first year of employment

Ph.D. in Government or Political Science

5+ years’ project and/or program management experience.

3+ years supervisory or management experience.

Group facilitation/presentation influencing various internal (these may be cross-functional/segment) and external parties (e.g., vendor management).

5+ years’ experience interacting with Tribal Nations.

3+ years of experience with personal computer, keyboard navigation, and MS Office Suite applications.

Healthcare, Insurance, and Medicaid experience.

BA/BS preferred, with a minimum of 5 years hands on experience with relevant government property management and administration experience;

Traveling to ERG offices as needed to support property management activities;

Knowledge of FAR government property regulations (experience with EPA and HHS specific property regulations are a plus) and standard industry practices;

$37,500 - $55,000 / year depending on experience and qualifications
