Overview A General Electrician is a skilled tradesperson who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components. They are responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are safe and functioning properly. Detailed Job Description General Electricians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components. This includes wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, switches, and other electrical components. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. They must also be able to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems. General Electricians must be able to work with a variety of tools and equipment, including soldering irons, drills, and other hand tools. They must also be able to work in tight spaces and at heights. Job Skills Required
