Game Narrative Intern Jobs

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Marketing, event planning, and project management experience preferred

Assist with Miami HEAT game night responsibilities

Manage Jr. HEAT camps, clinics, and league registration

Administrative duties such as data entry, answering phones, copying, filing, updating mailing lists and donation requests

Assist with Miami HEAT talent requests, scheduling, and data entry

Strong conceptual skills, including online software concepts and online experience concepts.

Has some knowledge and experience in video editing and/or cinematography is a plus.

Must be reliable and exhibit commitment to meeting both the work schedule and job requirements.

Knowledge and understanding of industry specific social media metrics and best practices.

Knowledge of website structure and functionality (Squarespace).

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must possess strong teamwork skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

General NBA and basketball knowledge preferred

The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.

RESPONSIBILITIES Include But Are Not Limited To

Assist the Director/Coordinator with game day notes for host, DJ, production, entertainment, etc.

Proven time/project management skills with ability to multi-task

Develop themes, story, and tone to drive narrative-based game experiences

Collaborate with graphic designers to produce on-trend, on-brand packaging, unboxing experiences, and communication

Build compelling and on-brand packaging copy, including names and taglines

Collaborate with Game Designers to develop, test, and refine gameplay and then craft accurate, accessible game rules and reference material

Create humorous, consumer-centric card content, including researching and managing editorial and legal/PR review

Strong writing samples and interviewing skills

Write game scripts with a strong character voice, brevity, clarity, and style

Work with other developers to help define and enforce the voice of an IP

Prepare scripts for Voice Over sessions, and sit in on Voice Over sessions

Build and maintain a Wiki and other documentation.

Review work from other professionals and provide feedback
