Gallery Manager Jobs

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Serve food in guest rooms upon request, ensuring a positive in-room dining experience.

Previous customer service experience required or equivalent training.

Previous hotel environment experience required.

Front Desk Supervisor or Sales Coordinator – Front Office Manager or Sales Manager

Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel.

Prepares all necessary reports during each shift for the management team

Process all payments according to established hotel requirements

Basic knowledge of how to operate all Food and Beverage equipment

Commuter benefits including transit & parking

Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors

Follow financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables

DUTIES/SKILLS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Salary: $42,000-$48,000 (Commensurate with experience)

FULL-TIME PERMANENT SALARIED POSITION HIRING IMMEDIATELY

SUMMER MONTHS (JULY & AUGUST) ARE 24 HOUR WEEKS

Utilize radio equipment and other staff tools and protocols in a professional manner to report business matters to management and colleagues

Keep Security Managers and the Director of Security informed of all incidents verbally and/or via written reports

Be customer service oriented when enforcing museum policies and dealing with the public

Perform escort duties into restricted areas of the museum as directed

Contributes to the day-to-day management of the Docent Program.

Experience teaching diverse audiences in a museum or education environment, preferably in a museum setting

Knowledge of studio art, arts education, and museum education theory and practice

Conducts scholarly research in preparation for presenting gallery tours, talks, presentations, and innovative educational programs.

Collaborates with project teams and work groups to create innovative educational programming and ideas.

Provides continuing education for docents; generates topics and activities that foster growth and quality teaching.
