3 year(s): Experience as a Registered Nurse in Maternity

1 - 3 years: Teaching Experience Preferred

Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:

Preparing course plans and materials

Recording grades and submitting reports

Masters or better in Nursing

Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills

Zero to two years’ experience in instruction or formalized education process, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.

Computer based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills)

Master's Degree in Nursing required. Terminal degree in nursing DNP, DNS, Ph.D. is preferred.

Membership in a professional association tied to area of instruction preferred.

2 year(s): Candidates must have clinical experience in the field as a COTA or OTR.
