General Responsibilities for Forest Officer

Some positions may require a valid class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Complete Wildland firefighting activities and pre-suppression/readiness duties

Locate fires using maps, GPS and compasses

Minimum one year experience in groundman and lineman work. (Lineman training school qualifies for 6 months experience.)

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Climb poles or use truck-mounted buckets to access equipment and works at heights.

Verify proper grounding of truck.

Safely control traffic passing near, in or around work zones.

Keep unauthorized people away from work area.

Knowledge of forest management, wildland fire suppression and/or environmental education.

Experience or certification in an environmental education role.

Pick and pack customer orders in an ambient, chill, or freezer environment

Assist in the loading or moving process of customer orders throughout the Fulfillment Center

Manage key commercial partnerships with public and private sector customers in the voluntary carbon markets.

Communicate insights and trends to customers - you've got amazing people skills!

4-6 years of experience in the voluntary carbon market or related sustainability fields.

Customer-oriented mindset with exceptional interpersonal skills.
