Hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels

Responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players, coaches, and parents

Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun

Build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered

Knowledge of SQL and a statistical programming language such as R and Python

Experience working with football data, including Next Gen Stats tracking data

Advanced Excel skills for displaying reports

Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Shiny, Tableau, or PowerBI

Experience in scouting opponents and developing tools to assist in game planning

Ability to manage a variety of SQL databases and data warehouses.

Minimum Qualifications - A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the requirements listed.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously.

Assists athletes to reach their full potential. Provides an enjoyable environment and experience.

Minimum of 1 year experience in coaching.

National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Fundamentals of Coaching Certification.

High school or collegiate coaching experience

Collaborate and co-instruct with other skill-specific instructors

Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills

Ability to follow instructional plans and station rotations tailored for various ages and abilities

Learning and utilizing technologies to enhance instruction and athlete experience

Perform on turf/field Football training, instruction and/or performance related training in and around the community

Build and maintain relationships with athletes, families, and coaches in the community

Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition

Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience (preferred but not required)

Fun environment, fun culture with other program directors, area managers and site coordinators

Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players

Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values

Manage scripted elements that involve being able to energize the crowd during key moments

Complies with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Pac 12 regulations in the performance of job duties.

Previous experience working in live sporting events

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and exceptional interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple activities during a single event and under time constraints.

Provides instruction and feedback during shows, as well as detailed video reviews immediately after the event and the following week.

Assist with meet organization and set up. Knowledge of Team Manager/ Meet Manager is a bonus

Bachelor's Degree and prior experience coaching and/or teaching or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Previous competitive swimming experience is preferred

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all constituents

The responsibilities of the Assistant Coach include:

Coordinate practice sessions and training programs with an emphasis on athletic growth and development, as well as safety

Prior experience as a football player, coach, or official is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with players, coaches, and parents.

Willingness to complete required background checks and certifications as per i9 Sports guidelines.
