You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing fleet vehicles, as well as performing preventative maintenance. Overview Fleet Tech I is a position responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of vehicles. This position requires a strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair problems. The Fleet Tech I must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Detailed Job Description The Fleet Tech I is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a fleet of vehicles. This includes inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicle systems and components, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. The Fleet Tech I must be able to identify and diagnose problems and determine the best course of action to resolve them. The Fleet Tech I must also be able to work independently and as part of a team. Job Skill Requirements• Knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Ability to follow safety procedures
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Automotive repair certification (preferred)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Knowledge of safety procedures
Job Experience
• Previous experience in automotive repair and maintenance (preferred)
Job Responsibilities
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle systems and components
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles
• Follow safety procedures
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment
• Read and interpret technical manuals
