Film Archivist Jobs in Missouri

Office management and supervisory experience.  Strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment with the ability to troubleshoot.

Assist with collection management and maintenance.

Manage office, create, and revise forms and schedules to maintain effective operation.

Coordinate with Digital Video Manager to spot check for quality control, inspect and evaluate digital content for formatting and compatibility issues.

Ability to successfully plan, organize, prioritize, and manage departmental work that encompasses integrated, yet distinct areas of responsibility.

Ability to manage multiple requests effectively in a professional and helpful manner.

Base pay is commensurate with experience.

The lecturer can also develop new courses in their areas of expertise.

Beyond teaching, duties will include student advising, committee service, and curriculum planning.

Applicants should hold a PhD or MFA in film/media or a related field.

Must be a US Citizen.

Continue education through attending conferences, seminars, and professional meetings.

Should have experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Excellent visual, communication, and public speaking skills.

Experience working with audio-visual materials.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the history of Missouri and the Midwest.

Assist in the development of strategies for the preservation and reformatting of materials in the collection.
