Knowledge of tools and experience using the tools is required.

Assigning Field Service Engineers to Service Requests via Service Management System (SMS) in advance with tentative dates

Coordinate with Service Support, Field Service Engineers, and Management on all open service order and onsite activities

Minimum 2 years experience in dispatching in a trucking company or related industry or 1 year experience with technical systems required

The schedule for this position is 7 nights on, 7 nights off.

Monitor and maintain petroleum inventories at all Sheetz stores.

Schedule loads to stores accurately and create dispatch for drivers while meeting efficiency and cost effective goals.

Resolve problems with driver dispatches as they occur through written and verbal communication regarding product and delivery issues.

Manage stored data and enter new data in computer database.

Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Dispatch drivers for U.S. domestic shipment pick-ups and deliveries. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and established internal policies and guidelines.

Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is picked up and delivered according to time-sensitive schedules.

Keeps apprised of current trends in law dispatching, ensuring that continuing education requirements are met;

Maintain EMD, EFD, and EPD certifications, including completing the required continuing education training for each Priority Dispatch System;

Successfully complete the Peace Officer Standards and Training Certification Training Course within one (1) year of appointment or vacate the position;

Complete all mandated training requirements;

Receives training in the reception and transmission of radio calls;

Operates a variety of communications equipment, including radio base stations, radio consoles, hand-held radios, telephone, and other communications equipment;
