Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, and 3D modeling software

Prior internship or work experience in fashion design or a related field is preferred, but not required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field

Sample management, tracking and coordinating shipments with factories

Manage data entry in Blue Cherry

1-2 years experience in a related field

Excellent communication, organizational and follow-up skills

Work with merchant team on PO revisions, tickets, size breaks and projections

Assist in collecting time and action information to ensure adherence to the product development calendar

Assists faculty and students with the development and implementation of the departmental fashion shows.

Assists with High School dual credit projects and "Harper Challenge".

Maintains inventory of departmental machinery, equipment, and supplies.

Strong people management and leadership skills including translating vision into actionable objectives

10+ years of product design experience at a high-growth handbag, shoe or accessory company required

5+ years of experience managing a team of designers required

Experience working in a founder-led company in a design role preferred

Category knowledge on handbags, small leather goods and accessories in both leather and synthetics

Excellent ability to listen, comprehend and communicate aesthetic and conceptual intent with a particular focus on brand objectives and production capabilities

Optimize the client experience through providing clients with prompt, professional, warm and courteous service

Fostering a meaningful client experience centered around inclusion and connection

Understanding of, and passion for client experience

Foreign language skills are preferred but not required

Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives

Minimum 3 years of related experience

Must have Project management experience

8+ Years of work experience as a Design production or Producer field

Must have experience running projects with multiple stakeholders, across internal, talent, and agencies

Must have experience working with Product Marketing and Brand Marketing

- Negotiate and manage project statements of work, estimates and related parameters

- Manage and expand external vendor relationships (illustrators, photographers, design firms, production companies, etc.)

Experience with content management systems (CMS) required

Powersports industry knowledge or writing experience a plus

Creatively ideate on how to best display product features, benefits, and attributes in a visual way for commerce channels

Apply business knowledge to identify and understand assortments and prioritize key initiatives

Interpret how company strategies and changes impact the category of business/direct responsibilities

Utilize business knowledge and reporting to prioritize workload and projects accordingly

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the design and production team.

Strong knowledge and understanding of fashion design principles and techniques.

Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills.

Basic knowledge of pattern making and garment construction.
