Leads design, development, and execution of research projects with little to no assistance from senior management

Accurate pipetting and bench-level skills (i.e., pipette standard curves to within accurate limits stated in procedure manual)

BA/BS degree required or equivalent experience

0-3 years research and/or clinical laboratory experience, focused on method development

Experience creating and reviewing technical drawings, requirements, written procedures, engineering reports, and Bill of Materials.

Create, review and release documents within the product lifecycle control system according to Medtronic quality requirements and process engineering change orders.

Demonstrate knowledge of variable and fixed asset costs of a technical development project to build accurate project budgets.

Experience designing and developing new products, including electromechanical assemblies.

Experience in solid modeling and simulation software such as SolidWorks and ANSYS or equivalent.

Experience and ability to work with key partners and stakeholders across various geographies and time zones.

Monitor, report, and analyze R&D costs across operating expenses, capital, and portfolio management.

Prepares monthly variance analysis reports and monthly management reports, per Samsung detailed analysis and reporting schedule.

Creation of BPC reports as required by management.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent work experience.

Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, Professional Solutions, this position manages a team of six.
