Overview of Fabrication Fabrication is the process of creating metal structures, components, and products by cutting, bending, and assembling materials. Fabricators use a variety of tools and techniques to create products from raw materials, such as steel, aluminum, and other metals. Fabricators are responsible for ensuring that the products they create meet the specifications of their customers. Detailed Job Description of Fabrication Fabricators are responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and other specifications to determine the size and shape of the product to be created. They use a variety of tools and machines to cut, shape, and assemble the materials into the desired product. Fabricators must ensure that the products they create meet the customer’s specifications and are of the highest quality.
