What you'll do as: Fabrication Assembler

• Assisting with machinery or equipment repair
• Testing and inspecting assembled products for flaws
• Perform basic safety checks and preventive maintenance functions on tools and equipment
• Cutting materials, fitting up parts, and assembling parts
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Operating tools and equipment to prepare parts for assembly
• Reading blueprints and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures

Work Experience

The preferred candidate should have:

• Have high school diploma or equivalent
• Have strong basic math and measuring skills
• Prior work in assembly or manufacturing
• Have great communication skills
• Have experience in automotive fabrication or diesel mechanic industry
• Experience with power and pneumatic tools
• Have a valid drivers license
• Background in quality control or inspection
• Ability to read blueprints and planning procedures
