Fabrication Tech 1 – Notcher obtain tube from the magazine bin.

Insert the tube into the tool/fixture.

Fabrication Tech 1 – Notcher input data every hour into the PLEX ERP system to capture productivity.

High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution

Ability to be a self-starter, learn on a continual basis, train others and work well in a team atmosphere.

1-3 years of manufacturing experience

Basic problem-solving and organizational skills

Written and verbal communication skills

Fabrication Tech 1 Inspects in-process fabricated parts.

Fabrication Tech 1 operates tumbler, welder, washer and notching stations.

Fabrication Tech 1 inserts magazine tube or tubes into machine and perform welding, washing, notching and tumbling applications.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Strong problem solving and reasoning skills

Preferred experience on equipment and automation consistent with a metal fabrication, paint, and assembly operation.

High School diploma or equivalent

An understanding of machining/fabricating fundamentals

Ability to perform reading, writing, and math functions.

Good attention to detail and eye/hand coordination skills

Bends, rolls, contours, sizes, drills, taps, cuts, trims, deburrs and cleans tubes

Must be able to sand and deburr metal parts.

Must be able to break out parts from large sheets of metal.

Must have a willingness to learn Fabrication machine operation, as needed.

Must be able to keep accurate counts.

Must check parts to ensure accuracy prior to completion of order.

Must be able to lift parts of varying weights onto work area.

Comply with all safety requirements of Company and OSHA

Able to follow instruction and possess fine motor skills to work with small parts (such as screws)

Must be able to produce to and Validate Product to Quality Standard and Product Specification

Adherence to Standard Work, specified as to Content, Sequence, Timing and Outcome

Proper use and handling of Company material, tools, processes and equipment

Properly and accurately report transactions such as but not limited to: attendance, labor reporting, inventory and operational data collection

Contribute to safety and process improvements

Performs other tasks as directed

Handle and maintain flow of materials and products through the production flow

Setup, calibration, and operation of machinery

Inspect machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances

Maintain accurate daily production records
