Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic Jobs in Colorado

Maintains necessary records of all work performed using computerized fleet management system.

Minimum of five years of experience performing mechanical repairs on all heavy duty vehicles and equipment required

Automotive Service Excellence Certification must be obtained within one year from date of hire

Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

Conduct fuel, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of mobile equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics.

Complete accurate written record of work performed.

Communicate and work well with others in a safe and professional manner.

Fluid Power Society certification (experience, or knowledge)

Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour

Advance technical and mechanical knowledge or related certifications with critical thinking and troubleshooting experience.

Welding Knowledge and troubleshooting experience.

Exceedingly skilled in preventative maintenance, trouble-shooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic components.

Combination of Cummins, CAT, International, Allison, Vermeer, Sweeper, Ford, GM, etc. training/certification and/or 10 years of experience

Welding Certification and/or 8+ years of experience

Additional desired experience and skills:

At least 10 years of related experience

Basic Windows System and Microsoft Office Knowledge

Hydraulics diagnosis and repair experience
