This is a great time to join our team as we are currently seeking candidates to fill a Heavy Equipment Mechanic position at our Fort Belle quarry in Florissant, MO. This mechanic position is a Union position with the Operating Engineers local 513.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Communicate and work well with others in a safe and professional manner.
• Complete accurate written record of work performed.
• Conduct fuel, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of mobile equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic qualifications;

• Welding certifications are a plus.
• Ability to multi-task, take directions, and perform well with others.
• Vocational / Technical degree highly desired.
