Business Development Manager of Events

Develop comprehensive supervising and management skills - clearly setting expectations, communicating processes, setting goals for improvement, and offering support as necessary

Familiarity with, or willingness to learn communications and project management tools, such as Slack, Box, Airtable, Concur and CRM Software.

Prepare budgets, with average ranging from $50,000 - $2 million+ US Dollars, offering suggestions for efficiencies.

Manage expectations (Client, Venue, and Internal), provide feedback, and anticipate challenges before they arise

Minimum of 6 years' experience in live events / entertainment / theatre / production

Experience preparing budgets & managing them (average ranging from $50,000 - $2 million+ US Dollars)

Demonstrable experience of all aspects of event management including experience of delivering large scale events (+100 attendees) both in-person and virtual.

Proven leadership and people management skills.

Strong stakeholder management skills, able to develop collaborative relationships internally and externally to deliver positive outcomes.

Essential Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Leading on internal stakeholder management across the business (including at Executive Board level) and owning day-to-day relationships with established external suppliers.

Experience of planning and monitoring events budgets ensuring value for money and strong return on investment (financial and non-financial returns).
