Entry Level Site Reliability Engineer Jobs

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or equivalent field; Completion of coursework by May 2024.

Ability to gain experience by cross-training in the various areas within the Technology organization and other key related functions.

Excellent leadership, teamwork and service skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experienced working with and developing with Java

Exposure/knowledge of cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure)

Research design options and document findings for project engineer/manager

Interest in Civil/Site Engineering projects; prior experience preferred but not required

Strong CAD skills, including AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and WaterCAD

Strong written and oral communication skills

Perform engineering calculations and create estimates

Ensure designs are in accordance with company and client production and design standards

Experience with configuration management platforms (i.e. Ansible, Puppet or Salt)

Minimum 2 years of experience working experience, preferably in a site reliability engineering role. Internships included.

Excellent working knowledge of Windows/Linux environments

Working with financial systems or knowledge of the global financial market place

Experience with OMS/ESM order flow

Knowledge of networking, both TCP and UDP

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Experience with virtualization, scripting and automation, server hardware, and/or network communications desired

Experience with both Windows and Linux server operating systems preferred

Preferred industry standard certifications include: A+, Server+, Security+, Linux+, Network+, CCNA, MCSA

Desire and ability to quickly learn and apply new skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills
