Site Reliability Engineer - Entry Level (Technology Rotational Development Program)

Equifax is recruiting highly motivated students with strong collaboration and communication skills for its Technology Rotational Development Program. The Technology Rotational Development Program is a primary feeder for top talent seeking to enter Equifax on a full-time basis after graduation.

Key Program Elements

24-month rotational program with 6-month rotations in various alliances, including: US Business-to-Business (B2B) Technology, Consumer Services (B2C) Technology,, and International (globally aligned internal projects) in a Site Reliability Engineer role.

• Opportunity to travel to Internationally to meet the teams you’ll be working with on a global scale. Please note there may be some need for flexibility when working on international projects as it relates to the time zones.
• Exposure to Senior Leaders.

• Formalized training and development throughout the rotation program.
• Ability to gain experience by cross-training in the various areas within the Technology organization and other key related functions.

Program Role & Responsibilities for Site Reliability Engineer

• You'll work closely with development and operations teams assisting in building highly available and cost effective systems.
• You'll participate in measuring and monitoring system impairments and outages.
• You'll work in a DevOps environment contributing to build and run of small scale and fault-tolerant systems.
• You'll assist the cloud operations team in resolving system issues.
• You'll assist with the creation of new tools and scripts for auto-remediation of incidents.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand the big picture as well as pay attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and timeline driven with an emphasis on accuracy and results.
• Proven creativity, problem solving and decision-making ability.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or equivalent field; Completion of coursework by May 2024.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork and service skills.

Bonus points for the following

• Exposure/knowledge of cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure)
• Experienced working with and developing with Java
• You have foundational knowledge/exposure to Agile/SDLC methodologies
