Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.

PMP/PMI certification preferred Typically 10+ years experience.

Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.

Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit levels.

Directs the development of overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements for the Global Business Unit.

Knowledge of applicable trade areas.

Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft office programs.

Schedules third party repair of equipment when needs are beyond the scope of the department’s expertise.

Participates in the evaluation of new, rental or demonstration biomedical equipment and make recommendation regarding acquisition.

Performs related duties, as assigned.

Associates Degree or Certificate in Biomedical Equipment Technology (or related field), or Military Biomedical Technology Course (or equivalent technical program) required.

Perform contract management for water related projects

Six years' experience in sub-professional engineering related work

Four years' experience in sub-professional engineering related work and two years' relevant college level engineering course work

TTEP (Tacoma Training and Education Program)

Lead other Engineering Technicians as assigned; direct and participate in various field studies; analyze information and prepare reports on findings

Catalog and classify water engineering drawings

Participates in Career Development for the Engineering Assistants program which includes job rotation, training and continuing education.

Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.

Applying engineering principles, practices and methods in job responsibilities

Actively prepares for professional engineering licensing/registration through appropriate training and exams and completion/maintenance of required documentation.

Applies principles, methods and techniques of engineering technology to a wide variety of transportation-related activities.

Assists in performing construction inspections.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Four or more years of progressively responsible related experience; or,

Experience with land development permitting software, computer-aided drafting (CAD), and ESRI is preferred (depending upon division and section assignment).

Work Schedule – Schedule will be 4 days per week, 9 hours per day.

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in engineering or related field; and,

Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Previous experience and/or certifications within the aerospace and defense industry

Associate's degree in a related field of study and at least 4 years of relevant experience

A higher level degree may substitute for experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with AutoCAD or other 3-D CAD software

Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

Experience with gINT Geotechnical software and AutoCAD LT preferred.

Prepare specific written report sections and associated drawings and attachments.

Draft proposals and fee estimates for standard or routine projects.

Maintain updates to project status including subtask timelines and deliverable dates including financials.

Draft, track and maintain project change orders.

Review ECO’s affecting drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of machined components, sequence of operations and setup requirements.

Develop, verify, and maintain CNC programs, set up sheets, tooling sheets and DDR’s to efficiently produce machined components meeting manufacturing specifications.

Perform time study, procedure and fixture development.

Reduce manufacturing costs, setup times and cycle times, document robust setups for the existing production process.

Establish Standard Tool Library and request specialty tooling, as job requires. Minimize inventory of expendable tooling.

Cost estimate for product; develop internal quotes for jobs.

US Military Training in Biomedical Electronics and 3 years of medical equipment service experience in a healthcare environment.

Knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, biology, and medical terminology

Comprehensive Knowledge of networks, computer hardware, computer software, and computer security

Advanced technical and/or OEM training

Comprehensive understanding of test tools needed to perform medical equipment maintenance

Understanding of common clinical terminology used in a hospital or clinic

Compiles logbooks and test procedures documentation utilizing good writing skills. Assists in revising, developing and implementing department procedures.

Uses communication skills to regularly exchange information

Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform moderate testing and troubleshooting.

May perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms to Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.

Performs necessary rework and assists in determining remedies for malfunctions and generates Quality Notifications.

Has developed proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks
