Electronic Inspector Jobs

Must attend and pass Army National Guard Electronic Security Systems Certification Training within one year.

This position has the potential to work remotely up to 20% of the time.

Entry Level. Excludes trainees with no academic preparation or experience.

RF knowledge is preferred but not required. Training will be provided

Troubleshooting experience is a plus

Retrieve information needed to test boards and set up test stations

Test production boards and electronic assemblies for conformance utilizing test equipment

Process paperwork to accurately record test data

Isolate manufacturing defects and may be required to perform rework as needed

Must be available for overtime as needed and have a strong attention to detail.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Proficiency in basic computer skills

Works from test procedures, shop aids, and work instructions.

Analyze results of automated test fixtures to determine status of PCB assemblies.

High School Diploma. Additional electronics education and test experience a plus.

Don't worry if you don't have direct experience, this position will receive thorough on the job training!

Reads work schedule, work orders, equipment manuals and performance specifications to perform test operations.

Tests functional performance of semiconductor wafers and discrete parts to insure they meet datasheet specifications.

Sets-up automated, semi-automated and manual test equipment with appropriate test fixtures, programs and process information.

Recognizes failures and set-up problems, and determines need for appropriate verification.

Minimum of 1 year electronic inspection experience, preferably inspecting wire harnesses

QA Inspector position responsible for performing inspections of cables and wire harnesses in a manufacturing environment

Perform all in-process inspections to check the following: lengths, pin crimps, soldering, proper processing, proper material, etc.

Sorts nonconforming assemblies for rework or disposition

Perform final inspections for all customer assemblies
