Electrical Engineering Designer Jobs in Texas

•Excellent Knowledge in Single line diagram, Specification, Process Data Module and Piping & Instrumentation Diagram

•Knowledge about Location Layouts and Electrical equipmentand different Instrument Identification

•Sound Knowledge on MS Excel, MS Access, SharePoint and Aconex

•Minimum 3 years of field work experience is needed

•Willing to work on site and remote location

•Work with Customer and understand their requirements.

0-5 years of experience in electrical engineering and the design of building power and lighting systems

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; good knowledge of industry software is preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

The electrical designer will assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in the execution of specific assignments

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

Requires accredited drafting training and discipline training or have prior working experience;

Requires basic knowledge of electrical terminology and symbology;

Requires basic knowledge of NEC and IEC;

Requires basic knowledge of OSHA;

Requires basic knowledge of electrical equipment and materials;

Strong experience with reading, interpreting, and drawing electrical schematics and circuits.

Strong experience with wiring diagrams and harness drawings

Experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs and HV power supplies

Experience in the use of a broad variety of test, control, and data acquisition equipment

Software experience preferred (LabVIEW, Python, Golang)

Low voltage and control system experience preferred

Excellent time-management and organizational skills

Review and coordinate vendor design documents review to ensure comply to design requirements

3-5 years of work experience with an engineering consultant

Strong oral, written, and communication skills

Prepare and oversee electrical power system design having single line diagrams, wiring and elementary diagrams along with layout and circuitry design

Coordinate designs and drawings needed for plant electrical systems to meet applicable standards and codes
