Ensure compliance with applicable local EHS Legal and regulatory requirements as well as any company-specified standards that exceed regulatory requirements.

Decision making (Determines a specific course of action in a timely manner)

Knowledgeable in Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.

Experienced with ISO 14001, 9001, 45001 management systems.

Demonstrated risk management skills and business continuity planning.

Knowledgeable of Occupational Health requirements.

Five plus years progressive leadership experience focused in EHS or manufacturing operations

Knowledgeable of US EPA, OSHA, DOT and NH DES regulations.

Responsible for safety administration, risk management, EHS training, medical and security related issues that may impact personnel or overall site safety.

Ensure the chemical management program is followed.

Team with regional EHS management in piloting EHS initiatives and programs

Knowledge of in-country safety regulatory requirements, familiar with OHSA regulations desirable.

Preferred experience and knowledge of the risks involved in the maintenance of equipment in the power generation industry.

Develop, understand and maintain the OneEHS project plan. Provide support to communicate and manage all sections of the plan.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Strong Environmental experience preferred. Craning and Rigging knowledge preferred, Certified Safety Professional preferred.

Relocation will be offered for this role if necessary.

Contributes to internal and external EHS audits, in support of accountable EHS Manager.

Develops, proposes and implements EHS processes and/or methods.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort collaborating with site leaders.

Communicates to management any possible global technology impacts

At least 3 years of recent IT/customer service support to C-level executives and senior management.

Understanding ITSM (Service Desk Role, Incident Management, Service Now, Asset Management and End User Operations)

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience with supporting PC hardware, installation and configuration settings

Experience with mobile devices (iOS, etc.)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; mature decision-maker

3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience

Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience

Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment

Possess a thorough understanding of local/regional and federal regulations and company policy.

Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon WHS Policies.

Audit recordkeeping practices and Gensuite entries to ensure compliance to global WHS standards and regulations.

Assist and/or lead incident investigations and participate in management review of all incidents

Lead site self-audits and coordinate external HSS audits and partner with site management to close audit findings and implement audit recommendations

Manage the national workers compensation program serving as liaison in claim management

Work with local management team and assist in developing and managing budget related to HSS activities.

In collaboration with WC Analyst, manage OSHA log, complete annual occupational injury surveys,

Research OSHA regulations and develop procedures as necessary to maintain compliance to respective regulatory requirements
