Experience in risk management and mitigation.

Perform duties as an active member of an accident/incident board, as determined by management.

B.A./B.S. degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and/or combination of education and related experience.

Knowledge of how to acquire Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and understand regulatory requirements.

Able to change directions with the needs of the work environment and take-on additional responsibilities based on operational needs.

Perform data entry and corrections to files on an as needed basis.

Responsible for safety administration, risk management, EHS training, medical and security related issues that may impact personnel or overall site safety.

Ensure the chemical management program is followed.

Team with regional EHS management in piloting EHS initiatives and programs

Knowledge of in-country safety regulatory requirements, familiar with OHSA regulations desirable.

Preferred experience and knowledge of the risks involved in the maintenance of equipment in the power generation industry.

Develop, understand and maintain the OneEHS project plan. Provide support to communicate and manage all sections of the plan.

Ø Must be accountable and take direction from Terminal Manager, keep required work schedules and focus attention on details.

Ø Perform any duty as assigned by Terminal Manager.

Ø A minimum of 3 years of previous successful work experience in an operational environment is required.

Ø Safety compliance/ environmental permit experience is a plus.

Ø • Ability to perform job duties with little or no supervision.

Ø Perform audits and inspections as required

Experience with hazard analysis methods, hazard communication, powered industrial vehicle safety, OSHA compliance, incident investigation and learnings, and corrective action management.

Ensure the Gigafactory EHS Management System elements are applied effectively in coordination with EHS Management.

Experience supporting EHS program development, training all levels of personnel, and influencing/managing change to reduce risk and improve outcomes.

Develop new procedures, inspections, trainings, or reports as needed.

Perform audits and inspections, document results, and ensure actions to closure.

Analyze incident trends and use risk-assessment methods to identify continuous improvement projects that reduce injury, illness and environmental impact events.
