Assist in development of cost/benefit (ROI) analysis, and implement the results in the negotiation of industrial projects.

Minimum 7 years professional work experience in economic development, transportation, engineering, real estate, marketing, economics or associated field.

Strong knowledge of railroad operations; general business issues; real estate matters; economics; and

Experience with property management, title, negotiation, acquisition, physical engineering, civil construction, or building construction

Assist the BRE department with CRM data entry and system management

Ability to work with little instruction and perform multiple cross-functional business tasks, including marketing, research, accounting, administration, and management

Maintain digital and physical file management to best practices

Marketing campaign management, metric analysis, and reporting

Periodic website management and updates/coordination as requested

Oversee daily operations of the Innovation Hub Network and manage staff in finance, marketing, communications, project management and other related roles.

Six years of experience in a related role, i.e., innovation manager, business analyst or a business developer, technology, manufacturing, finance.

Provide project management structure and support for collaborative research and workforce development activities.

The director will need well-honed communication and organizational skills, and a strong ability to lead through collaboration and consensus-building.

Collaborate internally within UTSA, e.g., with Career Engaged Learning, Professional and Continuing Education, and other university-based units focused on workforce development.

Manage federal contracts and other government and industry agreements, ensure financial and legal compliance.
