Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.

Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Maintains equipment in good working condition and secures repairs at the direction of the Manager of Cardiology

The ability to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of cardiac pathology.

Minimum of 3 years scanning experience, required. Pediatric exeprience preferred.

The ability to perform ICAEL standard adult echocardiograms and adult stress echo.

Performs echocardiograms in a timely manner.

Current and valid Completion of California State Certification requirements (C.R.T.)

Two years of Cardiovascular technologist experience which involved ECG instrumentation, interpretation and hemodynamic recording equipment

American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.)

Completion of California State Fluoroscopy permit within 12 months of hire

Certified as a Cardiovascular Technologist

Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary technology 2+ years Echocardiography experience. Registry required

Assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms performed under conscious sedation in the laboratory and in the OR.

Performs exercise stress and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms.

Edits and copies videotapes; maintains files on tests performed; creates teaching tapes.

Performs minor maintenance on instruments.

Amer Reg Diag Med Sonographer (Required)

Experienced as an echocardiographer, preferred

One (1) year of pediatric experience, preferred

Transthoracic echocardiography ultrasound on neonatal, pediatric and adult patients

Transesophageal echocardiography ultrasound on neonatal, pediatric and adult patients.

Graduate of a cardiac ultrasound program, preferred
