Overview Early Childhood Program Leaders are responsible for providing quality educational experiences for young children in a variety of settings, such as daycare centers, preschools, and after-school programs. They are responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and programs that meet the needs of the children in their care. Detailed Job Description Early Childhood Program Leaders are responsible for developing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and programs for young children. They must be knowledgeable of child development and be able to create activities that are appropriate for the age and developmental level of the children in their care. They must be able to assess the needs of the children and create activities that meet those needs. They must also be able to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children. They must be able to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other professionals. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of child development

• Ability to manage time and resources
