Drone Uas Pilot Jobs in Texas

Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience.

CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) certification is highly desirable.

Experience in conducting demonstrations and equipment testing.

Knowledge of UAS technology, airspace regulations, and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and instructional skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to trainees.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in UAS equipment.

Serve as a consultant to management and as an external spokesman for Bell on major matters and programs.

Equivalent university level education, training, and experience in UAS operations may be considered in lieu of pilot hours.

Perform additional tasks and acquire varying responsibilities as appropriate.

At least 250 hours of manned and/or unmanned pilot experience, 100 of which are PIC hours.

At least 2 years of experience in experimental flight test planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting.

Experience flying UAS larger than 55 pounds.

Supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Knowledge of UAV sensor systems (Methane detection, Lidar, and image collection systems).

Knowledge of sensor mounting and stabilization hardware.

Knowledge of sensor power and data transfer hardware.

Knowledge of CAD, or Computer Aided Design software.

Knowledge of CNC software and equipment.

Experience with Defense Acquisition System or Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes

Experience working with the U.S. military as a senior NCO, WO, or Officer

Experience as Staff at Battalion or higher

Experience with Full Deployment Operations

Experience with Force Modernization and Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM)

Experience with Cyber and Electromagnetic Activity (CEMA)

Supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Training experience working with adult learners

Effective oral and written communication skills

One or more years of experience in sUAS training and flight at a community college

Direct experience in the aviation/aerospace industry or military experience

3+ years of experience as an Unmanned Aerial Systems Pilot

5+ years of experience in Geomatics/Surveying

Demonstrated experience with LiDAR and Photogrammetry

Demonstrated experience with GNSS/GPS Static/RTK, and OPUS

Experience with post-processing, field-collected datasets preferred

AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
