Develop new high-throughput and autonomous materials characterization capabilities.

Significant experience in the synthesis of nanoparticles and/or development of ‘self-driving’ laboratories

Demonstrated experience with Python and/or other scientific programming languages (MATLAB, R, etc.)

Experience with materials characterization techniques such as (UV/VIS, SEM, XRD, XRF, XPS, etc.)

15+ years of experience in a drug discovery setting (biotech or large pharma)

Extensive experience leading drug discovery project teams from target validation to IND-enabling studies

Working knowledge and participation in CMC-related activities

Experience advancing drugs against novel targets to IND stage in diverse therapeutic areas and molecular target classes

Knowledge of preclinical and clinical biomarker discovery and development

Experience in creating and executing overall drug discovery plan to ensure robust, cost-effective support of company discovery and development portfolio

Reliably document, interpret results and data, and present scientific findings within project teams or to upper management to enable decision-making

Post-graduate experience in a related field is required.

Experience with data collection, processing is required.

Highly motivated and a team player, with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills is required.

Generate and test novel target ideas as a project champion

Pro-actively investigate, improve or change existing methods and techniques to effectively progress drug discovery programs

Supports business goals, shares learnings, knowledge and skills, and cross-functional teamwork.

Manages site inventory, including ordering laboratory supplies and equipment.
