An Associate’s degree with four years’ experience as a behavioral health intake specialist may substitute.

Considerable knowledge of individual and group behavior, with special emphasis on psychiatric/mental disorders.

Knowledge of the Accessible Information Management (AIM) database.

Excellent interpersonal skills, encompassing both oral and written communication abilities.

Knowledge of disability law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504, and its practical application for students with disabilities.

Offers resources that cater to the unique needs of students with disabilities, focusing on strategies specific to Texas State University.

Stays updated on research and best practices concerning students with disabilities in higher education.

Experience working in a disability related academic or clinical setting.

Knowledge of normal child development, the aging process, and family dynamics.

Skill in operating a computer terminal.

A weekend differential may be offered in addition to a night differential.

Assesses intake reports for determination of priority, allegation type, and handling.

Provides policy information to the public and other information and referral services.

Relays reports of abuse or neglect to appropriate protective services field staff or outside agency.

Advantage for project management or business analyst certification

Work with Product team leads to implement changes and enhancements to projects in the area of Electronic Content Management and eSignatures.

Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Experienced in writing functional specifications for programmers related to software systems.

Prefer prior experience as an active business analyst.

Education - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related area

Work with highly sensitive information while maintaining Personal Protected Information (PPI) requirements

1-3 years experience in a customer service

1-3 years experience in a sales enablement role (preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Assist SurgeryPlus Members with provider recommendations and maintain appropriate records and documents on initial call
