This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

Detailed Job Description The Director of Water Plant Treatment is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of a water treatment plant. This includes overseeing the operation of the plant, ensuring that the plant is in compliance with all applicable regulations, and providing technical guidance and support to the staff. The Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing operational plans, ensuring that the plant is operated in a safe and efficient manner, and providing training and guidance to the staff. • Ability to provide technical guidance and support
• Ability to train and mentor staff
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in water treatment plant operations and maintenance
• Professional certification in water treatment plant operations and maintenance (preferred)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of water treatment plant operations and maintenance
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in water treatment plant operations and maintenance
• Experience in developing and implementing operational plans
• Experience in providing technical guidance and support
• Experience in training and mentoring staff
