Develop and implement support plan for funded Clubs including managing pass-through opportunities, MOU’s, contract and deliverables management, and ongoing project support.
Project manage combined Youth Advocacy funding opportunities including budgets, alignment of Clubs and deliverables, and reporting mechanisms.
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science or a related area or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of Government policy processes.
Experience utilizing grassroots, grasstops, digital and media advocacy tactics and innovative strategies.
Travel estimated at 15% (can be 3-5 days or more in a month - including weekends - depending upon scheduling requirements).

The Director of Strategic Advocacy is responsible for developing and executing strategies to advance the organization’s mission and goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the organization’s mission and goals, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve them. The Director of Strategic Advocacy must be able to work with a variety of stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and other organizations, to ensure that the organization’s goals are met. The Director of Strategic Advocacy must be able to identify and analyze opportunities for the organization to advance its mission and goals, and develop and implement strategies to capitalize on those opportunities. The Director of Strategic Advocacy must also be able to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization’s strategies and make adjustments as needed.
