Aides in the management of family, sponsor, and HCP data/contacts in Salesforce

Foster relationships with Clinician/Researcher KOLs and their teams to collaborate on projects such as speaking opportunities, conferences, educational resources, programs, etc.

Plan and moderate educational/industry webinars for the community, and delegate reporting to community engagement events staff

5-10 years experience community engagement and/or advocacy in biotech, pharmaceutical, or disease specific non-profit organizations

Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership role, including managing a team and having budget responsibility

Experience in creating sponsorship packages and generating revenue through event sponsorship

Ensure managers across all business lines are experts in state and site regulatory requirement and can facilitate successfully passing state inspections.

A master’s degree in relevant field of study or BA and equivalent experience

Education professional with 7-10 years of experience developing curriculum and teaching civics in a public school setting.

Demonstrated knowledge of the civic education landscape and the key frameworks that support civic learning, including AED, C3 and CASEL.

Leads a multiyear initiative to develop Facing History’s next generation civic education program

Tracks and coordinates all activities related to civic education

Exceptional oral and written communication skills, confident public speaker and presenter.

Previous leadership and supervisory experience a must.

Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and guidelines governing external communications to patients, patient advocacy groups, and healthcare providers.

Experience in rare diseases and oncology preferred.

Ability to travel to key congresses and patient events, as needed (Up to 25%).

This position reports to the Vice President of Patient Advocacy.

Develop and deliver advocacy skills training and webinars to support local associations.

Manage and moderate GOTV and advocacy communities on YWCA's intranet to engage members and facilitate communication.

Minimum of 7 years of advocacy, government relations, and grassroots engagement experience required.

Demonstrated skill implementing state and local advocacy campaigns, grassroots advocacy principles, and advocacy training programs.

Experience working on YWCA policy priority issues strongly preferred.

Experience working with coalitions and membership organizations.
