Direct regulatory and crisis/special situation management programs related to QA/QC and food safety

Experience working within the food industry, specifically knowledge of raw material and ingredient functionality

Manage food industry matters which affect nutritional, food safety, and regulatory compliance

Manage departmental budget and capital expenditures

Must have at least 8+ years of experience in a QA/QC function

Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP, GMP’s and GAP’s

Lead Crisis Management protocols, investigations, and internal audit processes to maintain the highest standards.

Establish and integrate a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that fosters a strong food safety culture.

Develop and implement robust quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory programs that align with industry guidelines and requirements.

Manage supplier approval process, material traceability, and supply chain compliance.

In-depth knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations, coupled with strong Food Safety expertise.

Collaborative leadership style and talent development experience.

Experience in restaurant food safety, food production, supply management, or manufacturing.

Regularly provides management with product quality summaries and corrective actions associated with any quality issues and food safety related issues.

Advises management of trends in food safety that may impact our operations.

Experience with Food safety, HACCP, quality systems, GMP, FDA, USDA, and regulatory requirements regarding process food.

Monitors, interprets, and manages technical issues associated with biotechnology, public health, toxicology, environment, and animal rights.

Maintains knowledge of food safety, HACCP, current industry issues, and innovative technology regarding food and packaging products

Excellent organizational skills including time management and priority setting.

Substantial experience in Food Safety/Quality and/or Regulatory relations with a minimum of 10 years in progressive management or leadership roles.

Provide executive reporting on Food Safety and regulatory compliance and concerns regarding microbial management with actionable recommendations.

Requires a strong business, planning, communication and financial skillset with the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

7+ years’ experience managing requirements around verification programs; NAE, NGMO, Gluten Free, BRC, SQF, HACCP, etc.

Requires an excellent executive presentation and communication skills with the ability to inspire and inform.

7 years' experience with Quality and/or Joint Commission survey process either in a quality or clinical leadership role required

Bachelors degree in Nursing, health care administration, or a related field - required

Masters degree in Nursing, health care administration, or a related field - required

RN - Licensed-Registered Nurse required

Develops approaches for fulfilling the needs of the system by developing and implementing an effective performance improvement program

Initiatives of the Hospital shall demonstrate at least three (6) projects, which have demonstrated positive outcome results

Demonstrate computer literacy and proficiency with word processing, project management software, spreadsheets, and databases (minimal learning curve with specific programs utilized)

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and/or equivalent and relevant experience and education

Manage written responses, customer inquiries and visits for food safety and product quality complaints or claims.

Coordination, development and oversight of all plant FSQA compliance activities, including all regulatory label compliance, specification approvals, HACCP and USDA relationships.

Foster and environment of continuous process improvement to drive efficiencies, increased accuracy, and stronger decision making.
