Director Of Communications And Foundation Development Jobs in Florida

Develops experience supporting a minimum of three areas (i.e. Sustained Giving, Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Grants) of the Foundation.

Has access to confidential data that allows for coordinating and organizing assigned responsibilities.

Participates actively to assure compliance in assigned areas of responsibilities.

One (1) year of related work experience required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Internet proficiency and Outlook.

Assist in the creation and writing of donor proposals.

Assist with the development of stewardship plans for major donors and family foundations.

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nonprofit management, business administration, or public policy

Reviewing applications for Employee Hardship Fund benefits and making award recommendations

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including tax reporting and disclosure requirements, and 501(c)3 registrations in all 50 states

1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or charitable organization

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
