Overview The Director of Case Management is responsible for the overall management of the case management department. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, overseeing the case management staff, and ensuring that all services are provided in a timely and efficient manner. Detailed Job Description The Director of Case Management is responsible for the overall management of the case management department. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, overseeing the case management staff, and ensuring that all services are provided in a timely and efficient manner. The Director of Case Management will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external providers, such as hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers. The Director of Case Management will also be responsible for monitoring the quality of care provided by the case management staff, and ensuring that all services are provided in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Job Skills Required• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of case management principles and practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with external providers
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, social work, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in case management
• Certification in case management (preferred)
