10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing industry

5+ years of experience in a strategic leadership role that includes leading people and strategy.

Experience in the Space, Defence, or Aerospace industry

Knowledge of and experience with software and processes constituting a defined Program Management Information System.

Experience developing and updating a comprehensive, formal program management plan and monitoring compliance with same.

Experience using a comprehensive, formal project management plan to guide the successful delivery of a large transportation project.

Knowledge of business process analysis and mapping in developing, assessing, and updating business processes used in program and project management.

Establish and implement policies and procedures following VPRA's Program Management Plans.

Hire and manage staff and consultants to accomplish VPRA's goals and meet VPRA's program management goals and commitments.

At least 5 years of professional experience in project management (PMI certification desired)

Project and portfolio management lead responsibilities:

Facilitates the prioritization of projects. Responsible for business process management, including methodology and program management.

Progress tracking and coordination with overall project management and alignment with individual project streams.

Risk Management and Business Continuity Management - Enabling risk mitigation strategies to be defined and intentionally owned by appropriate teams.

Enables a network of Project managers to directly influence the HIT organization and achieve results for their respective projects.

5+years experience leading distributed projects virtually

Establishes objectives and success criteria for the project in an inclusive collaborative manner with all stakeholders.

Acts as a subject matter expert to evangelize crucial programs to stakeholders, partners, and customers to gain buy in.

Acts as subject matter expert to drive others to understand mapping or how systems work and impact one another.
