What are the projects that I will work on?

Assist in the collection and analysis of data using various data analytics tools and techniques

Perform data cleaning, data preprocessing, and data visualization tasks

Video Editor and Creative Graphics Intern (In-Person or Remote)

Smith Center is based in Washington, D.C. but we are open to a fully remote intern.

Proven experience as a video editor.

1-2 years experience with editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects.

Experience with other Creative Cloud programs like Photoshop and Illustrator.

Experience with Canva creating graphics. (Preferred)

Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional scope; develops and manages operational initiatives to deliver tactical results

A bachelors degree in Education, English Language Arts or a related subject

Broad experience with various design authoring tools

Experience working with multiple LMS’s

Instructional Design expertise in regards to research, theory, and application in the field of education.

Creation and Implementation of interactive materials, multimedia, and learning games in an educational setting.

Requirements gathering process – identify additional product capabilities through competitive research or analyzing customer feedback.

Design process – translate requirements into innovative designs across all Minitab products.

Experience with commercial (Minitab, SPSS, SAS, etc.) and open-source packages (R, Python, etc.) that specialized in visualization and statistics.

Testing process – test the implementation of our designs, ensuring the solution is working as expected.

Bachelor's Degree (Master’s or higher preferred) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

Understanding of visualization techniques with the ability to apply to exploratory data analysis.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Assist in managing social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring engagement.

Conduct market research to identify trends, target audience preferences, and competitors' strategies.

Help develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, such as social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
