Diagnostic Technical Support Representative Jobs

Prepares and distributes test reports or other information to regulatory agencies in order to determine if product meets state code requirements

Evaluates company products in accordance to certification standards

Trains new sales managers, customer service, manufacturer representatives, distributors, etc. on company products; and assists Product Engineering Manager as needed

Compiles claim data in order to form trend analysis as well as make product improvements

Provides documentation to customers and regulatory agencies denoting product specifications in order to verify compliance with local and state codes

Explains products and features to customers, potential customers, architects, engineers, plumbers, distributors, etc.

1+ years of customer service experience in a performance managed environment that is technology focused with high volume troubleshooting via phone

Demonstrates the ability to manipulate multiple tools effectively and efficiently (e.g., Knowledge base, various tools that assist with issue diagnosis/resolution)

Based on the customers wants and needs, acts as a product consultant, articulating appropriate product solutions, features and benefits.

Strong typing and oral communication skills

Ability to drive customer issue(s) to resolution during the initial customer interaction.

Demonstrate awareness of company policies and procedures, utilizes sound judgment, and remains within scope of support.

Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve technical and customer service skills

You have 1-4 years of professional experience. (Prior work experience at a startup is a plus!)

Proven experience in a technical support or customer service role

You’ve demonstrated skills and passion for handling customer questions and issues resourcefully and with empathy

You have exceptional writing skills (bonus points for a good sense of humor - telecommunications shouldn't be boring )

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

Extensive knowledge and practical experience of Windows operating systems including Windows 98/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7, MS Office applications, and internet browsers

Manage and respond to customer inquiries concerning operation and configuration of the Optos Panoramic200™.

Remotely install/troubleshoot software and upgrades, data base repair, and remove of software viruses.

1+ year of Technical Support experience required

Previous experience working in a customer care environment

PC hardware and configuration skills
