Diagnostic Technical Support Representative Jobs in Iowa

Extensive knowledge and practical experience of Windows operating systems including Windows 98/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7, MS Office applications, and internet browsers

Manage and respond to customer inquiries concerning operation and configuration of the Optos Panoramic200™.

Remotely install/troubleshoot software and upgrades, data base repair, and remove of software viruses.

1+ year of Technical Support experience required

Previous experience working in a customer care environment

PC hardware and configuration skills

Technical certification/degree in system, electrical or computer (electronics, software, control systems, power, or related) preferred.

2 years of experience in assembling machinery and/or repairing machinery breakdowns and component adjustments.

Valid Driver’s license with no restrictions, which would preclude driving on the job, is a continuous requirement.

Experience in customer service, customer support, and/or technical support.

Ability to clearly communicate with people and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to use personal computers to connect to networks, read and respond to emails, and manage files.

Instruct installers and customers in equipment installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and their responsibilities

Prior customer service and/or troubleshooting experience in a call center or office environment is preferred (minimum of 12 months)

Answer incoming calls from customers and installers

Provide operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation support

Promote and maintain positive customer relations

Provide troubleshooting and repair support to installers and customers over the telephone

Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve technical and customer service skills

You have 1-4 years of professional experience. (Prior work experience at a startup is a plus!)

Proven experience in a technical support or customer service role

You’ve demonstrated skills and passion for handling customer questions and issues resourcefully and with empathy

You have exceptional writing skills (bonus points for a good sense of humor - telecommunications shouldn't be boring )

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
