Organizes required catering services and room and communication equipment setup. Manages on-site staffing and support.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software.

Strong organizational and intrapersonal skills.

Coordinates outreach programs with local organizations.

Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification to book travel

Effectively manage your time when researching trips and communicating with clients

Network with tour operators regarding packages that you can possibly offer to clients

Personal travel experience is a huge plus, however not required

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality also a plus, but not required

Research, Create, and Execute exceptional itineraries for clients

3-5+ year’s professional event planning experience including 1+ year’s trade show management.

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Communications, Business, or related field preferred but not required

Researches meeting sites, conducts bidding processes, and selects venues according to event requirements (location, size, cost, etc.).

Coordinates meeting room bookings, assignment of space, room set-ups, audiovisual requirements, signage, and distribution of materials.

Manages Associate Service Awards program

Strong writing and verbal communications skills; able to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Management of, and negotiation with, suppliers to maximize benefits to the company

5 + years of relevant event management experience in a global environment

Proven project management skills; Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple initiatives with different stakeholders, timelines, scale, and scope

Direct project management of the company’s highest profile meetings and events

Complete financial management on behalf of the program stakeholders from budget creation to final reconciliation

Demonstrated innovation in conference management and implementation

Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and customer service skills.

Associate degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
