Successful lead teaching experience in an urban environment preferred.

Manage the day-to-day student discipline, working with classroom teachers, maintaining records and documentation, communicating with parents, follow up, etc.

Manage morning and afternoon carpool rotation and assignments of security personnel.

Other responsibilities as we determine strengths, interest, and needs.

Work together with the High School Deans and Activities Director to help promote a “one school” atmosphere.

Enforce OCS uniform policy and attendance policy.

Supervise students during “down –time” hallway, break, lunch, before and after school.

Certification/Licenses: Meets TCCED requirements for Dean of students

Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school

Supports and assists with the responsibilities of the principal

Assists in planning for staff development, curriculum , educational textbooks and materials, and student testing

Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church

Knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods/strategies, and curriculum differentiation
