A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DEALERSHIP RECEPTIONIST

Experience: 5+ years in automobile sales, with at least two years in a management position.

Inventory Management: Manage vehicle inventory and ensure proper merchandise presentation.

Open door and open-book management

Ensure proper utilization of customer relationship management (CRM) and related systems throughout the department

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and sales skills. Proficiency in CRM software.

Paid training and certification classes

4-year BA or BS degree and minimum 6 years managerial experience in a related field.

Motivate and lead a high-performance team of Department Managers & PSSR’s

Understand and abide by Human Resource policies and requirements.

Preferred working knowledge of parts and service operations.

Superior communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking, and telephone)

Demonstrated ability to grow and manage business to business sales

Ability to effectively manage your time

Ability to pay close attention to detail

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A DEALERSHIP CLEANER?

Reconcile bank accounts and finance reserves

Manage day to day operations

Minimum 2 years experience as a dealership office manager. Dealertrack DMS experience preferred.

Manages the payoff of vehicle floor plan and works with bank representatives.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or Associates Degree with minimum of 2 years of accounting/ finance.

Payroll preparation and reporting experience required.

Manage & Assist Office Staff daily; Monitoring hours and task completion/resolution;

Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work completion;

At least two years of dealership finance and insurance (F&I) manager or sales experience is required

Commit to a high customer satisfaction index (CSI) and ethical processes as a finance and insurance manager

Support the auto sales manager during each vehicle purchase and leverage opportunities to offer aftermarket products, service contracts, and insurance programs

Manage inventory of finance department supplies, including bank, state, and auto dealership forms

High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory; should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance or have commensurate professional experience

Assess whether car buyers need financing and payment options before presenting them with appropriate auto finance plans
