Maintain open communications with the management team, to help coordinate the general flow of inventory throughout the Distribution Center pipeline

Operate all equipment associated with picking and receiving responsibilities for regular and special store orders

Preferred 0-2 years previous experience in related position

Verifies accuracy of all receiving documents

Maintains security integrity and control of all freight, including controlled substances and confidential material

Responsible for receiving and sorting freight daily.

Prior experience in ordering, processing and receiving

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

High School Diploma or GED

Previous supply chain, warehouse, and/or distribution center experience is preferred. Other Skills, Abilities, and/or Training:

Experience using an electric, stand up forklift (Crown or Yale).

Perform pre-trip inspection on Forklift

Operate Order Picker within Compliance and Safety Guidelines.

Pick from racks while being lifted to approximate height of 29 feet.

Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.

Selecting goods for customers, within the agreed time frame, to secure an excellent customer experience.

Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.

Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).

Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.

Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.

Relive crew supervisor as needed, fill out and distribute Brooder crew schedule, collect timecards when needed, train and evaluate new hires.

Participate in First Aid and CPR training, Safety committee meetings and Safety investigations and perform other duties as requested.

Must have a valid Class C driver’s license with a clean DMV printout.

Must be able to read and write in English.

Must be motivated to work independently as needed with minimal supervision.

Must be able to keep good equipment records.

Work independently and as a team member, make decisions, and use adequate organizational and time management skills

Comply with OHSA and other applicable standards. Report issues and problems to Management

High school education or a GED equivalency preferred Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: 1 year experience in warehouse environment

Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills;

Demonstrate problem-solving skills and an understanding of simplification/improvement methodologies;

Prior experience with RF warehouse technology is a plus

$22.00 per hour (Incentive pay after training period)

2-5 years equivalent experience in a warehouse environment (food manufacturing environment preferred);

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in food production is preferred;

Demonstrate the ability to certify and maintain certification on a forklift or other industrial power equipment;

Previous experience with ERP systems preferred;
