Bartell Drugs, your neighborhood drug store since 1890, is looking for a high energy, dependable, hardworking Receiver / Forklift driver that safely operates an electric, stand up forklift for our Receiving team. Our Distribution Center is in Des Moines, WA. Regular attendance and punctuality are expected. • Operate Order Picker within Compliance and Safety Guidelines.

• Experience using an electric, stand up forklift (Crown or Yale).
• Pick from racks while being lifted to approximate height of 29 feet.
• Perform these operations using American units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
• Organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
• Work Saturday if needed (rare).
• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes is helpful. • The Receiving schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - completed (about 2:30 PM). Pay is $18.50 per hour. Job Summary The primary purpose of this position is to operate the electrically powered industrial truck (MHE / PIT / Forklift) to move pallets and material in the distribution center. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. In This Role You Will Be a change agent in bringing our values and strategy to life as a Material Handler in our regional Distribution Center!
• Prepare boxes and merge from rack onto pallet while using appropriate equipment
• Previous supply chain, warehouse, and/or distribution center experience is preferred. Other Skills, Abilities, and/or Training:
