Overview Data Engineers are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data systems and pipelines. They work with data architects, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is collected, stored, and analyzed in a secure and efficient manner. Data Engineers are responsible for creating and managing data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions. They also develop ETL processes, data pipelines, and other data-related solutions. Detailed Job Description Data Engineers are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data systems and pipelines. They work with data architects, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is collected, stored, and analyzed in a secure and efficient manner. Data Engineers are responsible for creating and managing data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions. They also develop ETL processes, data pipelines, and other data-related solutions. Data Engineers must be able to work with large datasets and have a strong understanding of database technologies. They must also be able to develop and maintain data models and data warehouses. Job Skills Required• Strong knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and Hadoop
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines
• Ability to work with large datasets
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and R
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as AWS and Azure
• Ability to work with stakeholders to ensure data is collected, stored, and analyzed in a secure and efficient manner
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and Hadoop
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and R
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as AWS and Azure
